You have 48 hours to pay for your booking.

For online booking, the gear can be collected at our office after 14:30. For gear delivery, we will deliver the rented gear to your hotel after 14:30 (for a small fee). If you need to collect your gear in the morning, please select a day earlier the pick up date and leave a note that you are collecting the gear next day in the morning.

Walk-In rentals, gear are available from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM everyday.

No, that is why you selected a pick-up date. Remember, pick-up are after 14:30. Also, remember the pick-up date is free of charge.

Yes, you can change the date (there is a fee for that), but you can’t change the duration of the rental to get a refund.

Yes, we do accept credit card for payment.

We do accept Cash (USD and CLP), Credit Card, Debit Card, PayPal and Wire Transfer, as we have bank accounts in multiple currencies such as USD, SGD, EUR, GBP, AUD, CLP, NZD amon others.

Yes, you have. Same as a rent a car.

Deposit Cancellation: We always cancel the deposit immediately when the equipment is returned (we provide a cancellation receipt). Most banks will cancel the deposit immediately, but some banks may take up to 48 working hours. If some banks take longer than that, just send the copy of the cancellation receipt to your bank and they can speed up the cancellation process (not us).

We place a credit card hold of a certain amount of money. That depends of the quantity of equipment you rent. We are proud to say, we are the only Rental Equipment in Puerto Natales that do that, so you DO NOT have to leave your Passport, Driver License or big amount of Cash as a Deposit.

*Sometimes we do some exceptions in case you have problems with your credit card.

Of course they are, we wash and dry every sleeping bag after every use, so we guarantee quality and cleanliness. Check our options HERE.

Yes, most of our sleeping bags are Regular Sizes and fits people up to 1.85 mts (6’2”), but we also have Small Sizes that fits people up to 1.60 mts (5’4”), eliminating carrying that unnecessary extra weight and also we have Large Sizes that fits people up to 2.10 mts (7’). Check our options HERE.

It all depends on where you are coming from, when you are coming, and where you are sleeping.

If you’re sleeping in a refugio, with a -7°C (20°F) sleeping bag or a -10°C (15°F) sleeping bag, you’ll be fine, pretty much year round, no matter where you’re coming from.

If you’re camping between the end of April and the beginning of October, it doesn’t matter where you’re from, you’ll need a -15°C (5°F) Sleeping Bag. If you are coming from a warm country such as Brazil, Australia, Thailand or Singapore (well, you get the idea), between mid October and late March a -10°C (15°F) Sleeping Bag will be fine (Or -7°C (20°F) Sleeping Bag plus a Sleeping Bag Liner is also an option if you want to save weight).

If you come from USA, Canada, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Japan (basically a country where you experience cold temperatures), between early October and mid November and between late March and mid April, with a -10°C (15°F) Sleeping Bag or a -7°C(20°F) Sleeping Bag plus Sleeping Bag Liner, you will be fine. After that, between mid-November and mid-March, with a -7°C (20°F) Sleeping Bag, you will be fine.

Yes, we are open year round.

We open at 9 AM everyday. Between October 1st and April 30th.

Between May 1st and September 30th we open at 10 AM.

December 24th we open at 9am and close at 8pm.

December 25th, we open from 11AM- 1pm and 3pm to 8pm (We will only serve tourists with reservations and tourists returning equipment.)

December 31st we close at 8pm.

January 1st we open from 11AM- 1pm and 3pm to 8pm (We will only serve tourists with reservations and tourists returning equipment).

We close at 22:00 between October and April (the last bus usually arrives at 21:30 hrs), so you can return the rented equipment by then, in case you arrive after 22:00 you can return the gear between 9-10 AM the next morning without any extra cost.

Between May and September we close at 20:00.

We don’t do delivery or pick-up at Corner Hostel, Yagan House or El Patagonico Hostel.

Remember, experiencing the park with proper gear is better than spending one ok night before or after your trek.

When flying from SCL to PNT or PUQ, you should sit on the left side of the plane (seat A). If you are flying from PNT or PUQ to SCL, you should sit on the right side of the plane (seat F).

No, we only charge just the amount of money that corresponds, for the lost or damaged gear.

Yes, between 1st May and 31st August (it is also mandatory to go with a guide for the W trek or the Base Torres trek). In 2022, due to a “long winter”, it was mandatory to use trekking poles and microspikes until 10 October. In 2023 it was mandatory to use trekking poles and microspikes until 20 October and in 2024 it was mandatory to use trekking poles and microspikes until 7 October.

It is also recommended to use microspikes in April, from the second half of April until the end of the month (when it is not mandatory), as every year there is ice/snow at the Britanico Lookout and Base Torres.

You can contact us via WhatsApp or Email us, letting us know your situation and leaving the rented equipment at your accommodation. We will go to pick-up the equipment, check if everything is Ok and, as the deposit is on a credit card, we will deduct the payment from there and return the deposit to your card.
